Submitted by Starla Anne on Mon, 02/12/2018 - 00:51I have tried over and over requesting a new password and today I got in here. I found it in my spam folder. It may have been going there all the time, but I check my spam folders. Perhaps I kept missing it. I tried a new name, but that did not work. I could get in, I kept forgetting my new name. Well, I am back as Starla Anne and using a password I am a acquainted with.
I am still trying to get in
Submitted by Guest Reader on Fri, 07/28/2017 - 13:33Joyce,
I do not know why it is so difficult to get in here. I used my old email address and there was no way you would accept it. All I got was conflicting information: that the address was not valid or someone already has that address.
Are you back?
Submitted by Starla Anne on Thu, 11/13/2014 - 00:34Are you back? Really back? Can I start writing again?
One of the writers on Fictioneer is deceased
Submitted by Starla Anne on Thu, 03/22/2012 - 20:40Larry Welch, who had written some short stories on Fictioneer, passed away on February 16, 2012. I think his family want his stories to remain on Fictioneer as a memorial to him. They have asked me to copy them for his daughter to keep in his memory. Love, Starla Anne Lowry

Am I doing it wrong?
Submitted by Wren on Thu, 12/30/2010 - 20:52I posted "Side Affects" this morning, and I wonder what I did wrong. It seems to only work in a very wide window, unlike anything I have ever posted. Is my story too long? Did I enter it incorrectly? I need to know before I post the next chapter. Help!!

New help here on Fictioneer
Submitted by Nick B on Tue, 08/31/2010 - 07:42Hi folks.
I just wanted to let you all know that as from now, I shall be helping Joyce with the running of this site, as she is stretched a bit thin and doesn't have the time she would like to devote to the site.
So if you have an issue, rather than PM-ing her, drop me a line and I'll try and sort it out for you.
Thanks chaps and chapesses,
Nick
Desperately need advice on story
Submitted by Starla Anne on Mon, 08/23/2010 - 22:39The pastor in Chapter 2 of "Pairie's Children -- Return to the West" is based on an actual person in Birmingham, Alabama. What is written about him is not considered extreme. He was a kind minister, always stopping on the street to pray with someone (has even stopped fights that way) and would actually give the clothes off his back to some needy person.

I need to read my own stories
Submitted by Starla Anne on Wed, 06/16/2010 - 20:24I had to change chapter two of "Prairie's Children, Home in Alabama". Ruth was converted to Christianity in the original "Prairie's Children", so she doesn't need to get saved twice. So, I do need to read my own stories.
